Have you ever wanted to try scuba diving, but not sure if it’s for you? Well, then a Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) session is the perfect way to give it a go. A DSD is for people who are not certified/trained to scuba dive and is a great way to experience scuba diving and breathing underwater.

A DSD lasts approximately 3 hours; which includes paperwork, equipment selection, briefing and the actual dive. Time in the water is approx. 45-50 mins. During the dive you will complete 3 basic skills, which we provide training for, before heading into deeper water.

During a Discover Scuba Dive our experts will explain the basics of diving  and introduce you to the diving equipment. In shallow water you’ll have the chance to complete some diving techniques, breathe underwater for the first time and experience what it’s like to swim beneath the waves and see into our underwater world. 

We do the DSD at Green Bay which is one of the best locations anywhere for this activity; with calm shallow water for the skills, followed by Fish Rock (a rock at 5m with lots of fish), then some small statues at 9m deep, followed by a swim through the shallows.  

The price for a DSD is €70 per person, which includes everything mentioned above, as well as equipment and transport.

The above is everything that is included in a DSD and there are no extra/hidden charges. You may however also be interested in visiting Musan; which is the underwater sculpture park that opened in Cyprus in 2021. Following your DSD, you are allowed to go for a second dive, and Musan is an amazing dive for beginners. You will also find some videos on our YouTube page of DSD’s plus dives at Musan.
